About Comeback

  • Since 2010, Comeback has had a close collaboration with Danish municipalities and has served as a provider of both individual and group programs. Comeback works from an innovative approach and is constantly working to create new opportunities and solutions for marginalized youth.

In addition to supporting personal development and social skills, Comeback also offers the opportunity for skills development and clarification related to work and education. Some of the youth who have been associated with Comeback have moved forward in terms of jobs and education by working under the “social freecard” in affiliated sister companies.

Comeback's dedicated and competent staff has helped many young people take responsibility for their own development and create a positive change in their lives. Comeback continues to focus on developing and improving its offerings and services so that even more marginalized youth can find a way out of crime and marginalization.

  • Comeback is a organization that works holistically by delivering both social interventions and job- and education-related interventions in parallel.

Comeback's objective is to enhance the personal and social abilities of young individuals, allowing them to establish a constructive presence in society, while concurrently focusing on improving their skills to effectively participate in either the workforce or education system.

Some young people have reduced functional and occupational capacity, and in these situations, we help describe the individual's functional level so that the municipality can use the description as the basis for a sustainable plan for the individual.

Comeback operates a range of businesses and activities that have the overall aim of creating opportunities for the young people in Comeback. These businesses and activities are primarily within crafts and production, where young people can learn skills and gain work experience. This can include producing products or delivering services on construction sites, etc., which both provide experience and a constructive social community for participants.

Comeback has managed to establish a bridge between marginalized young people and the labor market and helps marginalized youth to have a better life and achieve their full potential in terms of employment and education.

  • Occasionally, Comeback produces SROI reports, which are Social Return on Investment analyses of Comeback's efforts aimed at young men at risk of criminal activity.

The purpose of the SROI analyses is to identify the impact that Comeback has had on the young men's psychosocial development, educational status, employment rates, use of transfer income, and level of criminal activity. The analyses also calculate the economic benefits for public budgets and the social values of the changes made for the young men themselves.
